Updated the Group and UpdateGroupCommandHandler classes to clarify the behavior of group mode switching. The transition to dynamic mode now clears the existing item list to prevent old items from interfering with the new rule-based composition. Enhanced documentation and comments to explain the implications of mode changes. Updated tests to reflect the new behavior, ensuring that the group correctly handles item lists during mode transitions. Localization strings were also updated to inform users about the changes in item management during mode switching.
Updated the JunctionFiller class to adjust the eligibility criteria for junction elements, ensuring that the roll for chance is determined after the selection of a variant. Enhanced the Passes method to exclude the rolling logic, which now occurs in a separate Rolls method. This change clarifies the flow of decision-making in junctions and ensures that the chance of the selected variant is accurately represented. Additionally, introduced new tests to validate the updated rolling behavior and its impact on junction processing.
Updated the GridScheduleGenerator to reset cursors for slots with no aired positions, ensuring proper state management during rebuilds. Introduced a new method, ResetUnairedCursorsAsync, to handle cursor resets effectively. Enhanced the handling of interstitial groups in the scheduling process, preventing them from being included in slots or fallback groups. Updated related tests to verify the correct behavior of these changes, ensuring robust scheduling logic and accurate group categorization.
Updated the GridScheduleGenerator to support rebuilding future schedules while correctly managing aired positions. Introduced a new AiredPosition record to track the last aired state of slots, ensuring that the cursor rewinds to the correct position during rebuilds. Refactored the BuildInputAsync method to accept aired positions, and modified the LoadAiredPositionsAsync method for accurate retrieval of past entries. Enhanced the SchedulePlanner to utilize shared cursor states between main and background loops, preventing duplicate series plays. Updated documentation to reflect these changes and added integration tests to verify the correct behavior of the new functionality.
Updated the GridScheduleGenerator to utilize a new PlanningRepeatWindow structure for managing repeat slots, enhancing the logic for loading repeat units. The LoadRepeatUnitsAsync method was modified to accept a channel ID and repeat window, ensuring accurate retrieval of past entries. Additionally, the PlanningSlot record was updated to include the new RepeatWindow property, and the SchedulePlanner was adjusted to collect repeat units based on the updated logic. Enhanced unit tests to verify the correct behavior of repeat slot functionality, ensuring that overlaps and elastic start times are handled appropriately.
Added new endpoints for exporting and importing grid configurations in TemplateEndpoints, allowing for better management of template data. Enhanced the GenerateGridCommandHandler to support seasonal layers in grid generation, improving scheduling accuracy during holiday periods. Updated related classes and records to accommodate these changes, ensuring a cohesive integration of new features. Improved documentation for clarity and maintainability.
Updated the EffectiveGridBuilder to return an EffectiveGrid containing both scheduled and background slots, allowing for better management of overlapping content. Refactored the ResolveDay method to handle background slots separately, ensuring they fill gaps in the schedule appropriately. Adjusted related components, including GridScheduleGenerator and SchedulePlanner, to accommodate the new structure and improve overall scheduling accuracy. Enhanced documentation and comments for clarity.
Updated the CI workflow to run tests for individual projects, ensuring accurate coverage reports are generated for each module. Enhanced the BumperPlaceholders class to handle dangling separators more effectively, improving text resolution logic and maintaining clarity in output.
Added new BumperEndpoints to the API for managing bumper templates and variants, enhancing the channel management capabilities. Removed outdated bumper-related commands and handlers from the application, streamlining the codebase and improving maintainability. Updated ChannelEndpoints to reflect these changes and ensure proper routing for the new endpoints.
Implemented several unit tests to validate the behavior of dynamic group modes, including the preservation of pinned items when switching to dynamic mode, the dropping of exclusions when reverting to static mode, and the default pinning of new elements in dynamic groups. Additional tests ensure that exclusions are correctly applied and removed, and that static groups refuse exclusions. These tests enhance the coverage and reliability of the group management functionality.
