# Golden roster
`roster.txt` is the fingerprint of `RosterGenerator` for a fixed seed, four classrooms, country
Russia and Russian as the native language.
Phase 31 changed this file on purpose: everyone now has `Hauling` (an `always` skill, extra
rolls on the shared family stream, so later members' traits/skills shift) and an `items=`
column (wardrobe from a separate apparel stream). Names and birth dates of the first child
in a family stay; clothes are new.
Phase 32 adds `HeatLoving` / `ColdLoving` to the trait pool, which shifts later trait and
skill rolls on the same stream. Wardrobe items stay on the apparel stream.
Update it **in the same commit that changes generation**, and say in the commit message what
changed (a new skill, a related-language roll, a different birth window). A red golden test is
the question "did you mean to?", not an order to revert.
To rewrite the file after an intentional change:
```
WRITE_GOLDEN=1 dotnet test tests/HSchool.People.Tests/HSchool.People.Tests.csproj --filter GoldenRoster_MatchesFixture
```
